How to catch butterflies
We used a butterfly net like this one.
The net has to be long, so the butterfly is trapped
at the bottom of the net.
Then we used glass jars to see them and
take pictures.
How to identify butterflies
How many different butterfly species can we find around our school?
We identified 14 different butterfly species using Google Lens and
printed copies of Constantí Stefanescu's butterfly guides .
Thanks to the CBMS website we learned about population peaks, habitats and
risk of extinction​. We used Canva to present all the information.
